Toronto Waterfront & Islands Tour
Most Popular
Your adventure begins along the scenic Waterfront Trail, where the city opens up and the views start rolling in. A short boat rides whisks you across the harbour to the Toronto Islands - and the moment you arrive, the pace of the city melts away. Fresh lake breezes, winding garden paths bursting with native plants, and charming cottage-style homes make the islands feel like a world apart.
We'll pause at our favourite spot where the tree line opens up to reveal one of the most breathtaking views of the Toronto skyline you'll find anywhere. Cruising along the boardwalk, the lake stretches endlessly beside you, with glimpses of the vast bird sanctuary on the Leslie Street Spit. This is North America's largest car-free community - a rare, peaceful corner of the city complete with a quaint lighthouse and long stretches of beach.
The return ferry ride back to the city is the perfect transition, easing you from island calm back into the city's energy. But the tour isn't over yet! We will take you around the historic Distillery District - one of Trip Advisor's Top 10 things to do in Toronto - an internationally recognized heritage village of cobblestone streets and beautifully restored Victorian industrial buildings, now alive with art, culture, and character.
From lakeside serenity to living history, this tour captures Toronto's unexpected small-town soul.

Saturday Morning Market to Market Tour
Favourite for Foodies
The tour sets off from the Distillery District, one of Toronto's most celebrated heritage destinations. Cobblestone streets, grand Victorian industrial buildings, and a thriving arts and restaurant scene set the tone beautifully - and we'll share the story of how a historic Whiskey distillery became of the city's most beloved cultural landmarks. From there, we ride through the character-filled streets of Old Town Toronto to the St Lawrence Market, a world-renowned food hall that has been feeding the city for over two centuries. Wander the bustling stalls, sample artisanal cheeses, and we won't leave until we've savoured one of the famous peameal bacon sandwiches - a true Toronto rite of passage.
Heading north, we roll through the Canary district and into Cabbagetown, one of the city's most picturesque neighbourhoods. Beautifully restored Victorian homes peek out from behind mature trees, and the streets have a quiet, storybook quality that makes it hard not to slow down. We'll wave at the cows in Riverdale Farm on our way past - a surprisingly charming highlight that never gets old.
Next, we pedal through the elegant streets of Rosedale, where grand historic homes sit tucked behind winding roads and lush ravines. It's one of the most peaceful stretches of the ride - cool, shaded, and scenic - before we descend into the Don Valley. Our destination is the Evergreen Brick Works, a former industrial site transformed into an award-winning eco-hub and vibrant farmers market. Browse stalls of fresh local produce and artisanal goods while we collect an assortment of pastries and drinks for you to enjoy. Don't leave without taking a quiet moment by the ponds or nearby trails.
The return journey follows the Don River through the valley, with a brief stop in the Canary District to take in the street art, before the ride brings you back to where it all began.
